15 States with BLM Accuracy Data

These states include official government accuracy values from the Bureau of Land Management for survey corner coordinates. When Legal-Plot geo-locates your description, every corner reports its BLM accuracy classification so you know the quality of the coordinate.

Reference

PLSS Principal Meridians

The Township-Range-Section system is divided into 37 principal meridians, each covering a specific region of the country. Every legal description references one of these meridians as its coordinate foundation — it is the origin point from which all Township (north-south) and Range (east-west) measurements are taken. Legal-Plot automatically identifies the correct meridian from the description text and uses BLM survey data anchored to that meridian's grid.
